There are two paths to enrolling users. The first and recommended way is to add your employee on Realtime, then enroll them at the clock (Step 1.1). The other is to enroll your employee at the clock, then add your employee on Realtime, and assign them their clock ID (Step 1.2). Please see

  1. Go to Menu >> User Mgt. (Enter administrator fingerprint or password if asked.)
    1. If the employee has a clock ID,
      1. Select “All Users”.
      2. Click the desired employee in the list, then press Edit.
    2. If the employee does not have a clock ID,
      1. Select “New User”.
      2. Accept the User ID given, or press User ID to enter your own number. It must be unique.
      3. Click “Name” if you wish to type in a name.
  1. Fingerprint -
    1. Press “Fingerprint”.
    2. Select the finger to be enrolled.
    3. Press the finger against the glass, and when you hear a beep, remove your finger. Repeat two more times to get an average read. You will get a green checkmark and a message that your finger was enrolled successfully.
    4. You can enroll up to ten fingers per user.
  2. Face –
    1. Press “Face”.
    2. Stand at a distance from the clock such that your eyes align to the green box. Hold your pose while the clock reads your face.
    3. You will be asked to do this three times, then the clock will say, “Thank you,” which indicates a successful enrollment.
  3. Password –
    1. Press the scroll button on the top right corner to scroll down. Press “Password”.
    2. Enter a numeric password. Press OK.
    3. Enter the password again. Press OK.
  4. Card –
    1. Press “Badge Number”.
    2. Swipe the badge in front of the clock.
    3. Press the back arrow until you’re back at the main screen.
