To use Repair and Compact
Note: Please read all the steps to ensure that you understand the procedure - If you are uncomfortable with it, please work with a support technician
Note 2: If you get an error message, please do not click any new options and contact support
1) Backup the Database (A quick Copy / Paste is sufficient)
2) Open the Database Utilities (located in the RealTime program group)
3) Leaving only the "Include System Files" option selected, click "Repair"
3a) "Compact" button will disabled while it runs
4) Again, leaving only the "Include System Files" option selected, click "Compact"
4a) "Repair" button will be disabled while it runs
4b) You may see some disk space messages - if you have 1 GB or more space the disks that hosts your installation and your Data Root files, you will not need to worry
5) Deselect the "Include System Files" option and highlight your Company Database file in the list
6) With the Company Database file selected, click "Repair"
6a) "Compact" button will disabled while it runs
7) Again, with the Company Database file selected, click "Compact"
7a) "Repair" button will be disabled while it runs
7b) You may see some disk space messages - if you have 1 GB or more space the disk that hosts your database file, you will not need to worry
