The Face Recognition clock may take multiple punches if a user stands in front of the clock for too long. To prevent this, you can set the clock to reject any punches made within a short period of time.
Dup. Punch Period (m): If a user’s attendance record already exists and the user punches in again within the specified period (unit: minute), his/hersecond attendance record will not be stored. (Value scope: 1─60 minutes). Recommended value: 5 minutes.
OPTION 1
At the clock, go to Menu > System > Log Settings > Dup. Punch Period, or
OPTION 2
Go to Realtime Web > Setup > Communications > [clock group] > Clock Tools. Select the clock(s) to change, and enter:
Set Clock Option
USAUserRecheckFunOn=0
Ensures that the same rules apply to all
RecheckMin=1
Ensures that the AlarmReRec setting is in Minutes (0 means Seconds)
AlarmReRec =5
Sets the Duplicate Punch Period to 5 (or whatever number you enter)
Click "Set Option," wait a few seconds, then click "Reboot."
