NOTE: At this time, only the SUMMIT export supports use of this capability
NOTE: This only exists in the HTML platform.
Here's how it works:
1) Use Setup>>Tracking Levels and Mark a Tracking Level to "Allow Sub-items"
2) Save the Change
3) Navigate to the Employee>>Employment tab and set the Primary Level
5) Check the box and enter a percentage for each selected Sub-item.
The software will distribute any/all hours and amounts according to the percentages specified. The Primary Level will receive the remainder.
In the example above, An 80 hour week will distribute like this:
Distribution: 15% (12 Hours. 80 * .15 = 12)
IT / Networking: 10% (8 Hours. 80 * .10 = 8)
Production: 75% (60 Hours This is Primary so 80 - 12 - 8 = 60)
All calculations are done in the Export process. This means that all screens, views and reports in RealTime will reflect the Primary Item as receiving 100% of the allocation.
If more than one Level uses Sub-items, the export will mathematically sort it out appropriately.
