You can use Realtime Timekeeper's Timecard Tools to make bulk changes to the tracking and pay rate information on your employees' timecard entries.

To get Started, go to Timecards, and click "Timecard Tools" on the right. You will see a pop-up dialogue as shown below:

FIRST COLUMN

Employees

Select the employees whose entries you want to change, by using the quick filter, or by selecting employees individually. You can hold down the SHIFT key to select a range of employees, or hold CTRL to select one-by-one. You can also use your Quick Filter to select employees by their group affiliation (e.g., Department, Location, etc.).

SECOND COLUMN

Applies To

Select the entries your changes should apply to. By default, your employees' punches and hours entries will be selected. You can remove punches or certain hour types from your changes by removing the check mark next to them. You can also opt to apply your changes to the monetary entries on your employees' timecards by entering check marks to the appropriate types.

THIRD COLUMN

Date Range

Select the date range of the entries you wish to apply your changes.

Keep in mind that you can only apply changes up to the beginning of the previous pay period, as older entries are archived and locked from changes. To extend the period eligible for change, you can temporarily change your pay period to a longer timeframe (e.g., Monthly, if you're using the Weekly, Biweekly, or Semimonthly pay period type). If you need to make changes beyond this range, please send your request to support@sundialtime.com and we can unlock your records. Please be sure to let us know when you are done with your changes, so we can reapply the lock.

Tracking Levels to Assign

If you wish to change Tracking Level information, make your selections.

Include modified (not employee default)

Remove the check mark if you want to exclude entries that have been modified by a supervisor or manager.

Adjust Pay Rate

Remove the check mark if you do not want to change pay rate information on your employees' entries. If you leave the check mark in place, the pay rates on the entries you have selected will be updated to your employees' current pay rates.

To finish, double check your input, then click "Assign Tracking Levels." This change is not reversible.
