Series 15 clocks running firmware version 8.0.4.2-6.0.3 can be updated to firmware version 8.0.4.5-6.1.23
One reason to do this change is to be able to utilize a Multi-Clock Duplicate Punch Prevention
To Update using a Flash Drive
- Copy the file "emfw.cfg" to the root of your flash drive

- Using the Clock Menu, Navigate to System and select USB Upgrade
- Where offered, select Upgrade Firmware
- Press OK to reboot when it completes
- Once it reboots, Unplug the Power and Plug it in again to performs a "Cold Power Cycle"
Now that it has rebooted, verify all functionality for your clock. For example, check that the Fingerprint reader still works, that the badge reader is working, that you can add a new employee, that you can add a new fingerprint, that the clock connect to WiFi. Naturally, you ignore any features that you don't use or your clock does not have (like reading a Fingerprint on a Badge Only clock)
If Functionality isn't right, you can enable it by setting the options. This can be done item by item within the software, or by applying one or more Options Files.
To reapply options using your Flash Drive
- Copy the file "options2.cfg" to the root of your flash drive

- Press OK to reboot when it completes
