It is recommended that you create the employee's entry in Realtime and assign them a clock ID before beginning these steps (Use step 3.2). If not, you will be creating a clock ID at the clock, and then assigning the clock ID to the employee in Realtime (Use step 3.1).
- Press M/Enter
- Enter administrator fingerprint or password if asked.
- Select “User Mng”, press M/Enter
- If the employee does not have a clock ID:
- Select “New User”, press M/Enter
- Enter your Clock ID number or use the provided number. It must be unique.
- If the employee already has a clock ID:
- Select “Manage”, press M/Enter
- Locate the desired employee in the list by scrolling or by entering the number, and Press M/Enter.
- Select "Edit" from the popup list
- If the employee does not have a clock ID:
- Fingerprint -
- Arrow down to “Enroll FP”, press M/Enter
- Have your employee press (not swipe) their finger three times, as prompted. Press firmly to get a better reading. If the glass is smudged or dirty, you may need to clean it first.
- Press M/Enter to enroll a second finger, repeat the process.
- Press ESC to finish.
- Passcode
- Arrow down to “Enroll PWD” and press M/Enter if you wish to assign a numeric password. If not, skip this part.
- Type in the password, arrow down, and type it in again. Arrow down to OK and press M/Enter to commit, ESC to cancel.
- Card
- Arrow down to “Enroll Card” and press M/Enter if you wish to link a badge. If not, skip to step 14.
- Read the badge with the clock to apply the badge number to the employee. Arrow down to OK and press M/Enter to commit, ESC to cancel.
- Arrow down to “Role” and left/right to select USER or ADMIN. If an Enroller or Admin is created, then the menu will require authentication of an Admin or Enroller.
- Press ESC, then press M/Enter to save changes (or arrow down to the "Save" and press M/Enter).
- If you are done, press ESC until you are back out at the main screen.
