Series 10 and RS232 Serial

When using a Series 10 time clock Serial Cable connection to the Host Computer, you will need to assemble the Serial Cable.

Please see the attached image to make the connections

Pin 1, Signal Ground (Black Wire)

Pin 2, RX Data (White Wire)

Pin 3, TX Data (Green Wire)

Pin 4, Ground Shield (Black wrapped)

Be aware that there are 2 "Black" wires - The one with a smooth cover is the Signal Ground wire and the one with the wrapping is the Ground Shield

My own testing allowed me to mix the black wires without issue, but I cannot be sure that will work in all user environments
