Update Via USB Drive

Place the file res.tgz file on a USB Flash Drive. (The USB Flash drive must be formatted in FAT32. The clock will not read an NTFS formatted drive.)
Connect the flash drive to your clock.
Go to Menu>System>Update
Clock will say that audio or Language file is updated (ignore Text) and press M/<enter>.
Press ESC until back to idle screen
Reboot Clock.
(Clock may take 2-5 minutes to reboot.)
Once clock loads up (files have been extracted), reboot the clock again.
For HID card readers (Z03), set CardBitsReverse=0.

Update Via RealTime Web

This option requires that the clock download a 6MB file. Give step 9 enough time to complete

Login in to RealTime
Navigate to Setup >> Communications
Open the Clock Group that contains the clock(s) you need to update
Click "Clock Tools"
Select the clock(s) you wish to update
In the "Set Clock Options" area
Enter CMD PutFile in the Option field
Enter http://clockfiles.sundialtime.com/Firmware/6-8-0b1094/res.tgz in the Value field
(see below for alternate reader models)
Click "Set Option"
Click OK at the Warning Message
Click OK at the Queue Confirmation
Wait a few minutes for the download to complete
5~7 minutes should be sufficient
Click the Reboot button in the "Clock Commands" section
The clock will take several minutes to reboot
Once the reboot completes, reboot it again
For HID card readers (Z03), set CardBitsReverse=0.
