Silverlight is required to access to Reseller and Partner accounts. The only browser currently compatible with Silverlight is Internet Explorer, which unfortunately is not commonly used for anything else.

***** UPDATE FOR 2022.11.17 *****

Microsoft Edge allows loading pages in Internet Explorer mode with no add-ons required.

After you've installed Silverlight, when you navigate to Realtime, you will see the following page:

Click on the three dots on the upper right corner of your Microsoft Edge Browser. Then click "Settings" near the bottom of the menu.

Search for "internet explorer mode," then scroll down to find "Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) button," and turn it on:

Scroll down further and look for "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode). Change this setting to "Allow." Then click "Add" to add your Reseller or Partner page to the pages that will always open in Internet Explorer mode.

When you go to your Resellers or Partners page, you may get a dialogue box with the following:

Turn on both options, and click "Done."

If you still get the Silverlight screen, click on the IE Mode button on the top of your browser, to the right of the address bar:

This will turn IE Mode on.

You will see a message across the top letting you know you are in IE Mode. Click on the X all the way to the right next to the "Learn more" link to remove the message.

To turn off IE mode, click on the same button, which will now appear like this:

If you prefer to use a browser other than Microsoft Edge, you can install IE tab, as detailed below:

**** END OF UPDATE 2022.11.17 *****

With the IE Tab extension, you can have your modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.) simulate Internet Explorer so you can use it without switching to Internet Explorer.

To do this, first download Silverlight from the CNET page (Microsoft has removed Silverlight from its server.):

https://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-Silverlight/3001-2378_4-190345.html

Then go to the IE Extensions download page for your browser. You can find this by searching for IE Tab on Google.

https://www.google.com/search?q=ie+tab

You can enter your browser's name if you want the specific extension page.

Once you've installed the extension, you will need to download a helper file. You can do this by clicking on the IE Tab extension's icon from your browser's extensions area (usually a puzzle piece icon to the right of the address bar).

Install the helper file, then configure the extension as follows:

1. Click on the IE Tab extension icon. You will see a secondary address bar appear at the top of the web page.

2. Click on the screwdriver and wrench icon to the right of the IE Tab address bar, to access IE Tab settings. You will need to make two changes.

3. Go to the section titled, "Auto URLs." Type the following and click "add."

https://realtime.sundialtime.com/*

4. Go to the section titled, "IE Compatibility Mode" and select "IE 11 Standards Mode," which is second from bottom.

There is no need to save. You're set.

Now, whenever you go to Realtime, IE Tab will automatically activate and run Silverlight.

Please note, when you launch from the Reseller page into a client's company page using HTML, Windows will launch that page in Edge.
