Time Clock Text Mode
There are times where you may need to use TEXT for entries in the time clock. To accommodate this, there is a Texting Mode designed into the clock
The image shows you which letters are associated with the various keys
Entering Text
For each desired character, press the number associated with the letter. Continue pressing the same key until the desired character is highlighted. Once it's highlighted, pause until the desired character is added to the end of your entry field. If you accidentally pass the character you want, keep pressing the same key until the highlight cycles back to your desired character.
Entering Symbols
To enter symbols, press [Right Arrow] to access TEXT mode and continuing pressing the [Right Arrow] key until the Symbols format is displayed. Use Up and Down arrows to access the 4 pages of Symbols. Unlike Entering text, each digit key corresponds to a specific symbol and pressing the digit key multiple times will produce multiple symbols in your entry.
There are 4 pages of symbols - Access different pages with the UP and DOWN arrow keys.
Deleting Characters
If you accidentally create a character that you don't desire, you can press the [Left Arrow] key to erase the last character in your entry.
